Why now?

Compliance pressure regarding software quality is mounting — simultaneously, on multiple levels
Several regulatory frameworks are currently converging, often without companies being able to recruit the additional specialized staff needed to handle them. This creates a concrete, time-sensitive need for action:

BFSG / Accessibility

Digital products intended for consumers must be accessible. Micro-enterprises are exempt, whereas small and medium-sized enterprises with 10 or more employees are not.

EU AI Act

Anyone using AI—even just a chatbot or a scoring module within a CRM—is considered an ‘operator’ with specific obligations: the requirement to label chatbots has already been in effect since August 2026.

DORA

Banks, insurers, and payment service providers must regularly test their digital resilience and document it in an audit-ready manner—a requirement that has been mandatory since January 2025, including for smaller institutions.

Cyber Resilience Act

Every manufacturer of digital products—regardless of company size—will require reporting processes and conformity assessments for software vulnerabilities starting in September 2026.
